Before attacking someone's i.q. you should read a bit to raise your own.

1. What is the StarOffice 5.2 suite?
StarOffice 5.2 software is a complete, feature-rich office productivity product that's available at affordable, low cost charge to end users. It includes a word processor, spreadsheet, presentation software, calendar, e-mail, graphics program, database and math formula software. Comparable to Microsoft Office, its user interface is intuitive and easy to use. The StarOffice suite is interoperable with Microsoft Office file formats such as ".doc", ".ppt", and "xls". It is multiplatform, available on the Solaris[tm] Operating Environment, Linux, and Microsoft Windows platforms, and supports 11 languages.

CROSS-PLATFORM FUNCTIONALITY
Feature: Binary compatibility.

Function: Easily share information between StarOffice programs running on Solaris[tm] Operating Environment, Microsoft Windows, and Linux operating systems.

Benefit: Documents look the same in all three environments. Choose the hardware and operating system you prefer, without sacrificing data integrity or a consistent user experience.

23. When will the StarOffice suite be available for Mac OS?
The StarOffice suite is not available on the Mac OS and Sun has no plans to market a Mac version of StarOffice software. An Mac OS X porting project is available on porting.openoffice.org enabling a third party ISV to create and release a native OS X office productivity suite.
