El,
Old resistance points were 9.85 & $10. Those should now be support areas. So I agree with his key support area of $9.80. The ST resistance point of $11.70 is good.

I really think $13 is the next major resistance area based on historic price action. However, IMHO the potential HWP merger sorta throws a little cold water on resistance areas determined by historic price action. I think we have to watch and determine the resistance points based on post merger announcement price action.

I can't predict the future using TA. The best TA can do is determine trends. CPQ appears to be starting an up trend based on volume (11/13,14,15) and the price exceeding the 20 then 50 DMA. The 13th looked like a break out to me and the 14th was even better. Time will tell.
