The point about the Boy Scouts is not that they are out to hurt or exclude anyone. It's that they have a positive message they don't want to have diluted. The message to the children in their programs is that you will maximize your happiness, and society will be better off, if you follow the pattern endorsed by thousands of generations of the Judeao/Christian civilization, that one man joins with one woman for life. The best way to indoctrinate the children with this message is to provide males leaders who successfuly model the lifesyle. Was the ruination you referred to sexual trauma? That must have been someone else.
