Regardless of what the turnips are saying, NASDAQ blowing through 1930 makes me long for the week. I'm betting we see Nasdaq 2100 before any sort of dip or retracement of gains from 9/21. Retest the lows (Nasdaq 1400)?? Forget about it. I'm betting/guessing that the dip will be 5-10% and will quickly attract more buyers.

I have been thinking the same sort of thing the past 2 weeks. The strong open, followed by a pullback and then a strong close was very convincing.
2100 looks very realistic near term. Maybe there will be a pause but it is likely to be over 2000, imho.

At this point, there is just so much demand for stocks. As economic data getting better and improving consumer confidence/spending could create that upward spiral instead of that downward spiral we saw for 1 1/2 years.

LOL, I heard the same comments about a month ago when somebody was asked whether the Dow would hit 10,000 or not. That person said "Not a chance, no way". Well, here we are.

So, never say never or "forget about it", IMO. Not in this market.

All the best
