I own most of the stocks I post on. Most are smaller microcap names that deserve more attention than they are getting, so I have no apologies about giving them some exposure. I think GT is pointing out that microcap juniors in the past have been abused by pump and dumpers who are out to scalp a nickel by convincing others to buy off their "touts". What she is describing is not without some foundation in reality. But to start and run a campaign of accusing certain thread contributors here of that without any basis whatsoever, is stepping way over the line, and is in my mind downright evil.

Scalping for a nickel is not what I do. In fact, if that was my motive, this sleepy little neglected sector would be the last place right now to do it successfully. The stocks are thin and the in and out commissions for an American using Canadian exchanges are high. A touter would seek out areas with a lot more investor interest and liquidity than this one. This arena is a hard sale, not an easy one, and most speculators in it are true and rather independent minded contrarians. Touters are seeking exactly the opposite. I don't believe my mention of names has had any real material effect on these stock prices whatsoever. GT says long term investing and juniors are an oxymoron. Perhaps in her world it is so, but not in mine.
