It was a good Issue XP 1800+ won 50% of the tests over 2Ghz P4.

Too bad they didn't show the 1900+ yet. Maybe next month.

November 25 - No ad from CompUSA today, no ad from Radio Shack. Fewer computer ad pages from Circuit City and Best Buy. Few ads usually results from poor sell through. Whenever inventory is re-stocked there are usually a lot of ads, since most ads are paid for by co-op, and when retailers resupply, they get additional co-op dollars. So it appears that sell through on Intel's big Q3 channel stuff has not been good. They did manage to gain shelf space, but the systems appear to be doing more sitting than selling.
b=Best Buy c=Circuit City u=CompUSA o=Office Depot
Note that some details (flat screen monitor, amount of memory, better printer, etc) means the relative value of these systems is not completely reflected in the prices listed below. There are now so many free offers, etc. that I've stopped trying to equalize for them. These are the advertised prices after rebates (I still exclude any rebate that requires signing up for AOL or Compuserve since that would add to the system cost).
