No it really isn't.
Put aside your emotion, if you can. Bush is the commander and chief of our army. It would be foolish to expose him on the line- if you think he is an asset as a leader. Same goes for generals. Osama and his forces think of themselves as an army. They see Osama as their leader.

You may think this is akin to shooting someone in the back. But your enemy does not feel that way. And logically it does not follow. When you shoot an enemy in the back you get to run away. Like it or not Osama was able to inspire men to kill themselves in the service of his cause. They did not run away they blew up. They shot people full face and blew up. They see this completely differently from the way that you do. Many people all over the world thinks the US is cowardly by fueling proxy fights in other countries, funneling advisors and weapons to people who are perceived to further American interests.

And please don't confuse the issue by thinking that I think that. Because I don't. I merely understand the rhetoric of propaganda. It is probably good propaganda to call Osama a coward, but it won't work on people who know a lot about the technique. Like me.
