By the way, doesn't AMD layout the chip by hand, while Intel uses chip synthesis packages? I'm wondering if that could make a big difference. #reply-16681585

Ten - Photos of Plumas (E7500 ) Motherboards - for Dual Xeons using DUAL CHANNEL DDR Memory !!

There are two boards shown - one from MSI and the other from Gigabyte.

Looks like Intel is making sure that Dual Xeon Workstation/Motherboards keep the AthWiper MP from gaining any traction.
