I think you are wrong.
He has the light of the zealot in his eyes.
He has the absolute peace of the zealot in his voice.
It seems quite apparent to me that he believes absolutely in the rightness of his cause. It's really quite interesting. Saddam, now THERE was a political opportunist. And Khadafi, there's another opportunist. But Osama is a different animal completely.
