I think we could write a book. IT would be preferable to hurling ad hominem insults

Agreed but not all labels are ad hominem insults, and usually we simply can't write the book, or if we could no one would read it.

The truly funny thing about that is that the Christian bible (which many here claim to believe in) urges us to separate the person from his or her sin.

Christian doctrine would support separating the person from the sin but mainly because people can repent of their sins. I don't think is says anywhere in the Bible that sinners should not be called to account for their sins, nor does it say that evil men don't exist or shouldn't be called evil. It rather hold out hope for the redemption of the evil men.

(Note: I use the term men because the Bible would focus more on men and because OBL is a man, not because the same ideas could not be applied to women.)
