high pressure/high temperature well technology i just finished a long simmons article on north sea oil from october 18. page 27 talks about high pressure/high temperature (HP/HT) reservoirs. the article says existing methods and hardware are very tough and tricky for these type of oil reservoirs. i comprehend the problem for the high pressure, but could anyone comment on the high temperature part. how much higher than normal oil temperature is this high temp type oil reservoir? thanks.
