However there is always a difference between typical and maximum in any datasheet (a small wireless device I am embedding into a prodyct has a maximum sleep current of 50uA, but by my measurements (not characterized by the manufacturer) typical ranges closer to 7uA.

Presumably all sources of input signals are shut down along with the CPU during sleep, so I would think that your point is likely accurate. However that is not were the crux of the argument was.

There is no difference between typical and max signal loading in deep sleep mode.

Kap, leakage current vrs die temp is non linear. You are ignoring this. Without AMD data for leakage at Tjmax you can not conclude anything.
