Which was probably first said by somebody in early neanderthal dialect, along with nicht-umbringt/macht-stärker ... not a great deal changes at the core of our species in the near term, imho ... so to pull that thought back onto the old one of this thread, that principle of essential stability is why i don't think mankind will permanently accept a whimsical paper standard only two or three decades after millennia of ultimately marking all goods and services against tangible and concrete gold and silver
