10:02 ET Economic Data : Leading Indicators rose 0.3% in October, stronger than the consensus of unchanged; though not a particularly influential report given that most of the components are already known, the October increase will nevertheless be greeted as a slight positive for the market and the economy.

06:48 ET Microsoft (MSFT) 66.54: WSJ reports that company is set to settle scores of private antitrust cases that allege MSFT used its market dominance to overcharge millions of computer buyers. Terms of the tentative agreement call for MSFT to provide software and PCs to over 14,000 low-income schools in the U.S. at an estimated cost of 1.1 bln.
