Again, I have not included the actual hijackers in my definition of "cowards". In my first post on this thread in recent weeks, I specifically excluded them.

I do not consider the fictional Dad response to be cowardly because it is retaliation rather than initiation. The robber basically declared war on the Dad's family, he has lost the right to claim innocent victim status.
