As I estimate it, earnings will be double in 2012. After increasing at an average 7% rate over the next 10 years. Along with earnings, inflation will double after the recession with 10 year interest rates increasing to the 7% level. Using these rates the DOW will be 14,285 in 2012, and the NASDAQ will be 2860 in 2012. So are PE's high or low now?
