Any idea why Nokia only had about 3 or maybe 4 phones approved in the US this year? (But also GSM and EDGE base station or modules) Meanwhile in the last two months or so, there have been about 50 CDMA phones by Asian Vendors approved, One TDMA and one GSM phone plus about 3 WLL phones. Seems phones are becoming a commodity with lots of vendors using a standard ASIC and software. Seems a little tough to compete doing everything yourself(vertical).
