Perhaps it was a disconnect from your statement to Bill, but I was viewing your statement within the context of our discussion of bin Laden as 'coward' and your concern with "mis-characterizing" the enemy as a means of expanding the enemy beyond which was defined by the US. In the context of the current discussion I saw no inflammatory or offensive statements toward innocent people. Only varying degrees of contempt for bin Laden and various interpretations of the meaning of his acts. I appreciate the clarification of your position.
