I should have made my point a bit clearer. What bothers me is that uw posts this sort of nonsense (let's just call it that since both right and left, in my view, can come up with their own share of such) knowing it is difficult to genuinely challenge it because it takes the thread in directions Ken, rightfully, doesn't want it to go. So uw gets his free shot. If these kinds of posts could be the beginning of conversations of the sort in which uw says he believes x and invites conversations about that, no problem. And, if the topics were thread relevant. Though, I should hasten to add that uw posts a lot of extremely interesting stuff that is thread relevant. It's just that ever so often, perhaps when he's had too many cups of coffee (g), he has to crank up the Clinton bashing machine, the discredited (I get my shot) domino theories of the 60s, the Reagan (another shot) saved the world but oops!! forgot this, he bankrupting us. John
