My wife was a Blue Bird (not affiliated with the Girl Scouts) as a child and the Troop leader stole the cookie money. My daughter has been in 4 Girl Scout troops and they have had similar problems with money disappearing. My son's Boy Scout troop is awesome and has been since the Cub level. Of course all troops are not the same. Another point when making comparisons, I think it has to be conceded that men tend to like the outdoors more than women. * * *
