But in democratic Israel, Arabs are also exempt from military service as well. They must be reading the wrong books. -- no country is perfect. it's tough for the u.s. to talk to anyone about human rights issues, given their past with the aboriginal americans. actually, probably all of europe treated the american aboriginals poorly. we need to figure out how to get the oil out of the mideast, and how to keep israel and the 'arabs' from warring. this current low-intensity conflict (lic) is for the birds as well. we need to try giving them air-conditioning and shade. that region has always been loony because of the heat. maybe it's emanations from those danged pyramids over there in egypt!! andy
