CTB: The agreement includes a five-year program offering a free replacement tire against separations for all steel belted radial tires produced by Cooper from 1985 through 2001, some modifications to final inspections and a consumer education program to promote tire safety. There will be no cash awards to plaintiffs as a part of the settlement.

There is already a progam in place for the settlement of class action suits thru enhanced warranty on tires purchased after a certain date. The rock dwelling lawyers have just about bled the tire thing as far as it will bleed.

Arnie: CTB should be a good dividend capture play if you can afford to buy enough shares to make it pay off. With the stock being 14 per share now and a .10 div. I don't think it would pay off. If you want to capture div's, then ENN is the better play. Buy the stock prior to record of ownership and sell the day after ex-div.
