Having had two boys and two girls who wanted to participate in everything!...my husband and I had a deal. He went to all the BSA camping trips and volunteered for all the boys' sports activities. I did the same for the girls. We knew many years ago, that there was danger in letting your children participate in activities without a parent. We were aware of these dangers (accicdents included) that might befall on them and wanted to be around. We both worked full-time and it was crazy... but I can honestly say that they were not exposed to anyone who might have harmed or hurt them. Marie
