And I still stand by the fact that the 50% power going to leakage current values are at full voltage, and full Tj (100 degC).

The equivalent values are not present on the AMD datasheets (as far as I found). I have extrapolated some data from the AMD AThlon 4 datasheet however

At 1.4V and 1.1GHz 17.9A at 1.4V and 850MHz 15.71A (this seems very similar to the rate of current drop vs frequency as the PIII Mobile 1.13GHz 18.1A at 1.4V vs 15.87A at 866MHz at 1.4V). Assuming that current should scale linearly with frequency at a given voltage, then it seems both CPUs are behaving very similarly as far as current consumption when extrapolated to 0Hz.

I suspect leakage will be an increased problem at 0.09u - and would be interested in hearing any predictions/expectations as to the above. As per Intel, the benefits of SOI are decreased at these dimension levels. Can anyone explain the reason for this?
