Pish posh. I'm embarrassed for you, you blustering old bag of wind. Of course this is fall, doof. Winter beigns Dec 21st. Yes you could plant in a thaw. Washington state bulb companies are still selling discounted Narcissus for forcing. We're not in SE England. Nov 18th would only be three days into late November, so by any measure the best you can do is "gather" that you're right. You don't pretend to be an expert, and I don't have to pretend. This IS my field of expertise. You're just not man enough to admit that I may know anything better than you.

But this isn't really about daffodils. My original statement was "You dwell upon it (SI) too much. Go plant daffodils." The value you place on being right, even to the point of questioning whether I have the credentials, is disproportionate. If you were invest your SI energy in any ither thing you would be better off. But then again so would the rest of us so I doubt you will.
