That situation was, saving a baby while knowingly killing the mother at the same time. You don't need a poll to know that 99% (no doubt an understatement) of the public would be against such a bizarre act. You have a more accurate idea of what I meant but while it is really close it is either not exactly right or not perfectly expressed. I meant not that 99+% would be against trading the life of the mother for the child but rather that in that situation 99+% would be against creating a legal requirement that this be done. Tim
