He also forgot to mention that the Sandinistas rode upon the backs of an already rebellious Nicaraguan middle class who were tired of having to compete with Somoza's political domination over their businesses..

The Sandinista's would likely never have come to power without their providing their support for the overthrow.

In fact, they were so powerful a political element in Nicaraguan society that the first thing Ortega and his henchmen did was nationalize many of their businesses and force them into refugee status so they couldn't oppose their regime.

The Nicaraguan middle class used the Sandinistas like the Marxist-Leninists used the Anarchists... to bring down the established system.

But the Marxists were smart enough to kill off their Anarchist "storm troopers" so they wouldn't be able threaten their new regime, or derail their "revolution", as Ortega managed to do.

That's how the Sandinista's managed to come to power.

I'd say killing 60 of the Miskitos, after they have been armed and incited by the CIA to rebel against the democratically elected government, is about as mild a human rights violation as you can get in Latin America. Contrast that with the 60,000 people killed by "our guys" in El Salvador. Fortunately, the Miskitos realized they were being manipulated by the CIA, and decided to negotiate with the Sandanistas.
