Yes, but I think you've done me one better. As I recall, you simply cashed out of the market. I'm dropping back to almost all long term holdings, no (or few) ccs. About a third of the present value of the portfolio is in cash (some not by choice since I'm still looking to buy back some Qcom shares at 45--ho! ho!) looking for the next dip.

So it's a little of looking both ways. Try to keep the long term holdings intact in case of a non reversible leg up; keep enough cash for another reasonable dip.
