this article is exactly why the Chinese DO NOT like GSM handset manufacturers. they never helped them to build any handsets and they always built betters ones than would be built in China. The funny thin here is that this projection is for GSM absed models and not for CDMA based models, where the Chinese are getting help from the Koreans, and from Qualcomm to build state of the art, small, lightweight handsets. If this article is true, then GSM is toast because the Chinese will want to bring hte industry home to their own manufacturers.
