best argument i heard is the belief Government,due to rapidly expanding cost demands such as bail-out of Airlines and future homeland security cost etc, will be starting to heavily sell treasuries.Max

There are two theories on why bond yields are surging -- fears that the Fed has eased TOO MUCH risking inflation next year when the economy rebounds and a possible derivative blow-up somewhere. I suspect a little of both.

We should see bonds at 102 by the end of the year..IMHO..
