Pohlad was vice chairman. The bottler said former chairman Archie Dykes will become senior chairman of the board. Dykes is chairman of Capital City Holdings. Cenex Harvest States Cooperatives, Inver Grove Heights, reported net earnings of $178.6 million for its fiscal year ended Aug. 31, up from $87.4 million for fiscal 2000. The cooperative will return $72.2 million of its earnings to its member-owners during fiscal 2002 in the form of equity redemptions and cash patronage payments. The increased net income primarily was attributed to strong earnings in CHS energy and foods businesses, including its 50 percent ownership in Ventura Foods. Consolidated net sales for the 12-month period were $7.8 billion, down 9 percent from the $8.5 billion reported for fiscal 2002. The sales reduction is attributed to the dissolution of a petroleum refining joint venture and the creation of the agronomy joint venture, Agriliance. Deluxe Corp., Shoreview, has reached an agreement to be the sole provider of check printing services for AmeriCU credit union. Deluxe also will provide its suite of e-commerce products to streamline AmeriCU's account-opening and check-ordering processes. NeuroVasx Inc., Maple Grove, said the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has issued two patents to the company for its aneurysm-treatment technologies. The NeuroVasx devices are implanted within an aneurysm or cover the opening to the aneurysm, preventing rupture. Datakey Inc., Burnsville, said a multinational chemical company has selected Datakey smart cards, card readers and CIP client software. McKesson Health Solutions, Marlborough, Mass., said it has acquired the assets of the Institute for Healthcare Quality, Edina, a division of Health Risk Management Inc., Edina. McKesson gains the QualityFirst family of medical-management products. LumenSoft Corp., St. Paul, a provider of online analytical processing software, has completed its second facilities expansion at its headquarters. Xdogs Inc., Minneapolis, has signed a consulting agreement with ProMark Inc., Philadelphia, to assist the company in the analysis of joint ventures, strategic combinations, potential mergers or acquisitions and other business opportunities. Digital River Inc., Eden Prairie, and Responsys Inc., Palo Alto, Calif., have formed an alliance in which Digital River will add a Responsys e-mail product to help its clients capture real-time response information and customer profiles for e-mail campaigns. The Federal Aviation Administration, Great Lakes Region, has awarded a 2001 Airport Safety Excellence Award to Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
