Perhaps we need to check with him. Yo, FL, what about the Vietnam war? Is it off topic?

Before you answer, I have an idea. Let us know what you think about it. Those obvious debates over who caused it, whether we fought it right, whether it was a colonial war or a war to save the world from those dastardly commies, those kinds of debates would be off topic. But, in so far as the memory of the Vietnam war continues to shape both American diplomatic and military policy, that seems to me to be an on topic topic.
