Hi Jumper - yesterday the September 11 Fund posted a press release confirming what you told me - that a number of large donors specifically directed that their donations be used to support non-profit organizations and long-term economic growth. So even though they won't respond to my emails (-g-) I feel mollified. uwnyc.org They've also given a lot more to families since the last time I looked at the list of activities they've funded. A couple of weeks ago I looked and very little had been given to families and the amount to nonprofits was disproportionately large. uwnyc.org So I withdraw my nomination. One fewer thing to be aggravated about. Thanks, and Happy Thanksgiving!
