By the way, I think I can answer why Christopher objected to the editorial that was posted. The substantive point, about freedom of dissent, is platitudinous. What is bothersome is taking to task those who exercise their freedom to respond to the dissenters, or call for solidarity in a time of crisis, or who, in view of the matters at stake, get mad at those who slam the United States or the Administration at this time, and especially closer to the critical events. There is a sense of disloyalty about all of the moral equivalency talk, or defeatism, or nitpicking of the Administration that does not sit well with most people. To turn around and question their patriotism because they sometimes lose their temper seems perverse.......
