Dear goldworldnet: Oh no, NOT THE CIGARS!!! (gg). Actually when it comes to CUBA I am in a quandry. Having lived in Fla. most of my life and having known Cuba before Castro and of course now I know what a great place it is. Sadly, I also know first hand the incredible pain and suffering Castro inflicted on a large number of Cubans. (to his benefit he actually has helped a lot of Cubans too in the area of education and medicine). Just a damn shame Castro couldnt be like BUSH. haha.
Anyhow, my instincts tell me that if we had free trade with Cuba rather than strengthen Castro it would weaken him as our people and our culture so close to his country would IMHO overwhelm him. However, many of my friends are expatriot Cubans or now sons and daughters of same, and they still remain often fiercely opposed to any involvement by the USA in Cuba. Therein lies my quandry. jdn
