Personally, I think it is some kind of "crusader for justice" complex. I see this tendency often with our more liberal friends. As Bill Cosby observed, parents with young children don't necessarily care about justice but about peace and quiet. I feel much the same way. I don;t know what the dispute is about and just wish it would go away so we could get back to X paying me more compliments..... JLA

And I wonder if the reason you have kept insisting even after it has been proven to be a fiction that Poet ever cast aspersions on our "young men," is because... you love her so much!
