My error.. I was looking at price to book, and not book value..

Yes... that cash could be a nice prize to have for any company willing to absorb the corporate legal liabilities.

At the very least, they could repurchase company stock with it as a means of returning value to shareholders and mitigating potential liability from the class action suits.
