That's the same leftist Maryland county whose county council also passed a law last year conscripting its citizens to shovel snow from COUNTY-OWNED sidewalks in front of their homes. To add insult to injury, they didn't even make exceptions for elderly or disabled, although the council offered to coordinate volunteers to help prevent the little old ladies from getting $50.00 tickets.

The County Executive, Doug Duncan, was planning to run for governor next year, but decided against it upon realizing that MD Lt. Gov. Kathleen KENNEDY Townsend would beat him handily.

BTW and FWIW -- Located in the suburbs of D.C., many politicians and top-level bureaucrats who enact policies that affect YOUR lives live there.

...fined up to $750 if their neighbors complain about tobacco smoke odor from their homes...

Sounds like Southern California. Only they include: "Residents may be fined $1,500 for bogarting(not sharing) if neighbors complain about Marijuana smoke odor from their homes".
