Last time I approached something that way I got a lecture from the local contingent of the Jehovah's Witness..... I swear this is a true story....One morning I got a visit from a pair of JWs. I was bored and invited them in to hear the talk. They were pumped with excitement [Imagine they had the door slammed in their face a thousand times]. After about 5 minutes, I started to ask questions...pretty soon I got to my belief that IF there was a god, then he/she wouldn't want us to worship him/her. Why would god have a need or desire for worship? He's all powerfull, all knowing, etc.; it seems to me that a god that wanted worship had a character flaw, which contradicted being an all powerfull, all knowing god....I could tell from the expression in his eyes that I was beginning to convince one of them... which the other noticed and promptly grabbed him by the arm and decided it was time to leave my Satan infested abode. It's great fun if you're ever bored and you get a visit. jttmab
