I didn't say that it insulted our men in uniform. I still do not know what post is being alluded to in that instance......

Our men in uniform are acting on our behalf and as such deserve our utmost respect. At the same time they are following the orders handed down by an Administration that we set up and which represents us. This administration must remain responsive to our collective conscious about the course of military activity or we end up with a social melt down. The love and devotion embodied in patriotism is founded on the belief in the underlying principles of the cause. There may be strong support at the start of a campaign that goes on for too long or that goes too far to a point where it no longer represents public sentiment. The only way for the administration to know this is when it is notified by us. To create barriers to dissenting voices is to put cracks in the foundation of patriotism.
