Actually that was not meant to belittle. Not everyone is able to be unemotional about things, I've no idea why. If it's genetic, it's hardly a "fault" of people who are emotional. I urged you to try because I felt your emotionalism was completely getting in the way for me.

I am under the impression that people who think they are their ideas are impossible to have civilized discussions with. And quite frankly I'm tired of it. I hold my ideas, but they are not me. I do not believe any person should be ridiculed personallym(in an absuive manner)- but ridicule of ideas is fabulous. And even personal ridicule, when done cleverly by friends is a treat- but of course you won't find that here.. And yes indeed, when people being to scream and yell at other people and call them names they have lost. IMO that sort of behavior discredits both the person and whatever ideas they hoped to champion.
