Agree Jim....... I had similar thoughts too. My only way of reconciling it was that the ship sank very quickly & the two lost sailors were inside the Iraqi ship. Unfortunately, the reports said the ship was listing & already floundering when it was boarded..........

Why would anyone think of going inside an Iraqi ship suspected of carrying contraband when it was floundering? My first thoughts would be that the Iraqi's were scuttling it, no?
