*HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!* It appears that I'm the vegetable chef for our extended family dinner tomorrow night. All of my dinner contributions turned out to be green this year:-) So, tonight I'll be blanching asparagus and chilling it in an ice bath, as well as trimming green beans for Green Beans Amandine. The good news is that I don't have to get up super early to trim the turkey, etc. That was Mr L's task last year, but he is out of the rotation this time around. Instead, he is the assistant vegetable chef and was the procurer of the requisite ingredients. (He might get to be chief bottlewasher, too, but don't tell him yet.<g>) I'll see you all on Friday when we'll be watching our computer screens from the home exercycles and treadmills. Have fun everyone and remember that we all have much to be grateful for in these otherwise troubled times. M
