Why would you make such a ridiculous comment. Clearly you are not in the medical profession. I would suggest that (at least) thousands of articles have been written concerning the conflicts between foetal and maternal life. It is a critical philosophical and social concern--especially for those who have ruptured uteruses...

To suggest that a doctor operating on a mother is not intervening with knowledge that the intrusion favors the life of either the fetus or the mother, is to insult the skill and the integrity of the medical profession.

The medical profession do not follow a "hands-off" approach to the conflict between foetal and maternal life. THEY have a bias. How about you?...
