You might also want to check out this past post of X's: Message 10916957 She has said that was "persona" she tried on for awhile, but discarded because it wasn't the real she. But the posts you've been citing recently make one wonder, don't they?

I didn't pay attention to the scorn thing. Neo added that himself. It was not, I believe, something I was talking about. I was thinking of a few very specific instances where some people who were being very insulting basically self-destructed. I thought that was lovely. I still do. I tend to think about pleasant things. Had I been really analyzing the whole issue much more thoroughly I would have remembered friends of mine losing it, or <shudder> even very occasionally me! Which is definitely lovely for some other people, but not for me. So there you are. You've looked very deeply at some remarks that were basically flippant. Since context is everything, you might have noticed that. But you seem to have left that out. Should I wonder why?

Jorj You care a lot more about this than I do. I've no idea why. Perhaps I was terribly rude to you at some point in the past and I fail to recall it. If I injured you I'm very sorry for it. But I'm not going to continue to argue about what I meant and what I mean ad nauseum. It simply isn't very interesting to me. Read my posts and read the posts of others here. You will find me trying very hard not to call people names. You will find me trying very hard to separate actions from people. I'm no saint, I don't claim to be one, even I (sigh) make errors. And although I think I am fairly consistent, I am not perfectly so, nor do I claim to be. If you'd like to post about something brilliant you've done, or some other topic, I'd be interested in reading your post. Otherwise, you'll have to proceed without me.
