Don't know if you spotted this Silver Institute production report:

I admit being a little surprised at the small amounts of mined silver, only 589 million oz. Didn't realize it was that low. That's a gold equivalent of less than ten million oz. And only 25% of that comes from primary silver mines. 40% comes as a byproduct of now nearly worthless zinc and lead. 24% comes from gold byproduct, and 24% from copper.
