Not difficult..
You don't need records of who called in sick. All you need is to investigate the affiliations of those that were killed to examine the percentage. And if further evidence is desired, examine the affiliations of those who worked in the companies' offices there.

This is easy enough to investigate, that such claims by Pakistanis or others don't have much credibility, if they haven't even matched up the backgrounds of a statistical random sample of 10 or 20 of both groups. A congressional investigation would be interesting, but if there is anything to it, it would be better to make a list of the names and start the research yourself, before some "sanitization" is done, assuming it were needed.

Not my job to provide evidence. If there is s will, it should be easy to find out ALL the people who worked there and all those who didnt show up.

BTW circumstantial eveidence will also be acceptable. this is not a criminal case we are talking about. Its our money. We (or at least the congress based on the billions of dollars they get from lobbyisist) give it to whom we please.
