For those getting excited about the end of the war in Afghanistan.....(posted here because I think the market hasn't priced this in)

My watercraft experience is pretty limited. Used to have a 150-horse 16-foot tri-hull but got rid of it. To this day, we've all been unable to recall why we got rid of it. Kept it at the inlaws' lakefront place next to their pontoon, and it got used all the time for hauling kids around on tubes.

Bought a JetSki a couple of years ago. Kawasaki 550cc two-seater. Daughter and I were riding it once and it tipped over on us at low speed. Just started tipping and though we starting leaning frantically the other way, it just kept going until it was upside-down in deep water. By the time we made sure we were each alright, we noticed it was slowly sinking. Took quite a bit to get it righted and when we did, it was REAL low in the water and took forever to get started and was only running on one cylinder. I limped it back to the dock and dropped off my daughter then rode around in circles for a LONG time as it slowly shed the water it'd taken on and eventually became a two-cylinder again.

We were never "right" with that machine again after that and rarely used it. I'm still not sure why it capsized, but I never went slow on it again.

Last year I traded it in on the 4-wheeler and I've never looked back.

The 4-wheeler is one of two machines I have that frequently causes me to think "What kind of moron am I that I waited so long to get one?". Not only are they the most useful machines in existence if you've got acreage, they're also about the most fun you can have in an upright position. They're de rigueur among Boogerville denizens. In the immediate 5-mile radius (about 20 households), there's an average of about 2.5 of them per family. Having only one, I'm ATV-poor. Big 3-legged dogs piddle on my shoes, toothless chicks don't dig me, and babies who look nothing like their daddies cry at the sight of me.

The other "Why didn't I get one long ago?" machine is the John Deere 455 diesel garden tractor with 60" deck. Every time I mow with it, I can't believe I put up with lesser machines for so long. And went through so darned many of them, adding up to a cost far greater than what the JD cost me.

On the 4-wheeler, as we'd discussed earlier, I really wish I'd gone the same route you did. I love the Honda but the fulltime 4WD is a huge drawback. That machine's all work and no play. Tough to slide it and it's awfully squirrely on the road. I'm sure one of these days I'll give this one to the wife and get myself a big toy like yours.
