I live in Colorado, finding $50 wines here is hard

I'm surprised. Do you live in a small town?

I live in Detroit, and they are plentiful. The local specialty grocieries carry many. I just bought several excellent bordeauxs, including Leoville Barton, Clos Fourtet, and Duhart Milon, all for about $50. They have a lot of good cabs too.

I would think that near big cities, especially affluent areas, you could find plenty.
