Roebear, at this very moment I'm sliding carefree in the black -- strong move in the patch. I'm actually surprised at the volume I'm seeing this early today. As for the weather, I'm finally seeing a cooling trend developing out here in the West, some precipitation too.

Anyway ... Happy Thanksgiving to All!

Best,
Frank P.

Frank, <DISCLAIMER>
No problem, weather to order, ggg. Actually a good time to remind all I am just a hobbyist (at this point) with a good record and my weather reports constitute NO investment advice or any other advice, I am just sharing my thoughts.

So if anyone's ski trip is ruined by weather more appropriate for Palm Springs, don't think about suing me, try NOAA or CPC, LOL!

That said, In My Own Humble Forecasting Opinion, I rate the previous forecast a high confidence rating. If the North Atlantic Oscillation cooperates, it is a Very high confidence rating.

On this one Frank, I've got the FA, after having rebuilt my data sources, in addition to the ever intangible but inimitable Hex signs, VBG.

Thx. Roebear. Excellent stuff.

OT/Trying to catch up reading this and other threads after some fun and a great feast with the family.

Mrs Patch & I saw Harry Potter last nite, while the teeny boppers picked a different movie. You know how they are at that age. Don't want to be seen with Mom & Dad all the time.<g>

Also caught a fascinating biographical piece on the late Stanley Kubrick, last week. Narrated by Tom Cruise, it covered Kubrick's films plus interviews with the many outstanding actors, writers, top production people and other directors Kubrick worked with in his stellar career. What an amazing body of creative work!

Also, picked up several excellent books recently. The Radical Center, is a brilliant exposition by Ted Halstead & Michael Lind. It stands astride and above the increasingly tiresome tug of war between liberal and conservative ideologies, instead offering some truly practical & pioneering policy thinking about major national issues that MUST be delt with.

It's THE most important socio-economic, but essentially apolitical work I've seen in the last 10 years! Libertarians will love it IMHO.<g>

Best regards,

Isopatch
